People Ask Me All The Time, How Can I Really Make A Difference!

Here is one thing that I have learned that is key here.

There is an old familiar story about a man who comes across a young boy, who when playing on the beach recognized the fate of the starfish and began to pick them up, one by one, and toss them back into the sea.  The man watched him for a time and then he approached him shaking his head. “What’s the point, boy, don’t you see there are thousands of these starfish lying along the beach? There is really no way you are going to make a difference.”

Undaunted, the boy replied to the man, as he toss another starfish into the ocean, “Yeah, but it made a difference to that one.”

Sometimes it is merely a small act, that may not make a difference once, but if done many times can change the world!

We hear the stories all the time. But those stories don’t mean anything unless we start somewhere. Just like the story of the starfish. It could be as simple as that, or it could be like a good friend of mine who volunteers for a shelter twice a week. Or it could even be as simple as making sure to smile with your whole face to strangers you meet as you go about your day!

But the hard part is…   often, I’m afraid, we find ourselves overwhelmed by the challenges and problems that exist in our lives and the world around us, becoming paralyzed by the enormity of it all.  We’re like the man observing the boy on the beach tossing starfish back in the sea.  “What’s the point?” we ask ourselves.  “Surely my little contribution won’t make any difference.”　 Oh, but it does!  In fact, for some it might make ALL the difference.  So . . . “Don’t fail to do something just because you can’t do everything.”

So How Do We Apply This To MLM Network Marketing?

How do we start making a real difference in the lives of others?

Many answers to that one, but give this a thought.

Maybe its simply that we share what we know, without requiring an instant reward?

Because I have found that, until we are willing to give to others, we will never receive what we really want, its a fundamental rule of the universe!

This is the Essence of Network Marketing!

We give our time and energy to those who may need our hand up! We show them a way to change their circumstances, then they can help others. That is the big picture!
